Wedding Receptions & Parties

Wedding Music Basics:

Prelude
Music played while your guests are filing in, finding their seats, and waiting for the ceremony to begin. Should typically last 30-minutes.

Processional
Music played while the bride & groom walk down the aisle. Usually a single song repeated for the duration.

Interlude
Any special moment during the ceremony, such as a candle lighting, where unique emphasis or musical symbolism is appropriate.

Recessional
Rapturous music played at the conclusion of the ceremony, as the newly married bride & groom exit.

Postlude
Music played while your guests exit the ceremony, typically lasting 15-30 minutes.
